Lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical, sharing the same hardness, brilliance, and fire. The only difference is natural diamonds are formed deep in the earth under extreme pressure and lab grown are created in a controlled environment.
Even though there is much controversy between diamond connoisseurs, we understand that budget is an important factor for many couples. Offering Lab Grown options allows us to offer individuals the opportunity to get their dream ring at a fraction of the cost. Morganite can be a sensitive stone and over years of wear, the clarity of the stone can deteriorate. To prevent this, keep your stone out of direct sunlight for long periods of time. Avoid using hard chemicals on your stone. Things like oils, lotions, and harsh cleaning products can change the appearance of your stone, so best to remove your ring before doing these activities. Extreme heat and cold can affect the longevity of your Morganite ring so leave it somewhere safe if you will expose your ring to the elements for extended periods of time. If you do happen to get your ring dirty the best way for washing your Morganite ring is warm (not hot) soapy water and a soft toothbrush. Gently towel dry and leave no residual water to dry.
It is safe to take your Moissanite or Morganite ring into the pool, but prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like chlorine for extended periods of time can compromise the appearance of your stone. It is best practice to dry your ring off with a towel after getting out and spending as little time with your ring submersed.
The best practice is to send it to us to get professionally cleaned. We use an ultrasonic machine and steam clean all of our rings. If you decide to clean your ring yourself, we take no responsibility if you incur any damages while cleaning your ring. Be very delicate when cleaning your ring as spending too much time in the ultrasonic cleaner or extended time being exposed to steam can cause damage. The safest thing would be to send us your pieces so if anything does happen, we will repair it at not cost to you. Plus, every engagement ring purchase does come with one free cleaning with no expiration date, so once your ring finally needs a cleaning, reach out to coordinate with us.
An appraisal is needed by your insurance company to verify the value of the ring. Upon request we can send one to you to be approved by your insurance company. We recommend using Jewelers Mutual to insure your ring, but there are many insurance options for you to choose from.
